| Ringgold Telephone Company Named as One of Georgia’s Best Places to Work |

Ringgold Telephone Company was recently named by Georgia Trend Magazine as “One of the Best Places to Work in Georgia.”
Ringgold Telephone Company, a cornerstone of the Ringgold community since 1912, has a long-standing reputation of being aware of employee welfare. “As the times change, so must employee benefits change to increase a positive work environment,” said Kathy Hampton, Human Resources Manager for Ringgold Telephone Company.
Most recently, Ringgold Telephone Company hired an optional in-house physician, which performs routine check-ups and lab work for both the employee and their dependents. The physician’s availability allows employees to eliminate paying a co pay and offers higher flexibility in scheduling.
“The doctor is available to employees one day a week, and the employee can just walk down the hall instead of having to drive to a doctor’s office,” said Hampton. “It is convenient for our employees, and it’s free for them.”
Additionally, Ringgold Telephone Company also provides employees with opportunities for advanced education, flex-time, and community involvement, while continuing to promote a family type work atmosphere.
“Our employees are our greatest assets, and we strive to adapt to meet their changing needs,” said Phil Erli, Executive Vice President for Ringgold Telephone Company.
Ringgold Telephone Company was one of 15 employers in the state of Georgia to receive this honorary award.
