| What is nextv? |
nextv is the digital television service that is provided by Ringgold Telephone Company. nextv is similar to cable and satellite TV, offering many of the same channels and programming that are available.
The service is all digital and includes Video on Demand rentals, Caller ID on the television screen, and special local programming including shows such as Kookin’ with Kimberly and Gardening Catoosa Style that are not available with other providers.
nextv also allows you to get one bill for your telephone and television, and the more services you add the more you save!

| Can I get nextv? |
nextv is available to most residents who reside in the Ringgold Telephone Company serving area. To find out if the service is available in your area call 706.965.1234 or visit our office located at 6203 Alabama Highway.
If we determine that the service is not available in your area, your information will be added to our contact list so that you will be among the first to know when nextv will be available in your area.

| Why do I need a Set Top Box? |
Because nextv is an all digital service, it is necessary for each television to have a set top box to receive the digital signal. This is the same for any other television provider who offers digital service.
It is possible to connect 2 televisions to the same set top box, but it will require you to watch the same channel on each TV.

| Do I have to buy any equipment? |
No. We will provide the equipment for you and you don’t have to worry about anything being installed on your house.
If your equipment becomes outdated you won’t have to incur an additional cost to replace it because we’ll do it for you.

| Must I run new wire to receive the service? |
No, our service will work with your existing television. In some cases, new wiring will have to be run to service particular installation when a phone jack is not near your TV.
Don’t worry. All you have to do is sign up and we’ll handle the installation for you.

| Can I get local channels? |
Yes. Local Channels are included in every nextv package at no additional cost. You will also be able to tune in to local programming on nextv2. This channel provides community specific shows such as Kookin with Kimberly, Gardening Catoosa Style, and Commissioner meetings.

| What is DVR? |
Yes. DVR (Digital Video Recorder) gives you the ability to record live TV. With VCR-like capabilities, you are able to use the Electronic Program Guide to set your DVR to record specific programming, or if you have an unexpected disruption during one of your favorite shows, you can simply press the "record" button on your remote to record live TV. These recordings are stored on your DVR set top box for you to view at your convenience. Go ahead... record, pause, rewind, fast forward... you can do it all with DVR.
