In the normal course of providing telephone service, the Ringgold Telephone Company maintains certain information about our Customer’s account. Certain customer-specific information, such as information relating to the quantity, technical configuration, type, destination, location, and amount of use of a telecommunications service subscribed to as well as information contained in Customer’s bill for telephone service. This information is known as “Customer Proprietary Network Information” or CPNI for short. Examples include the type of line you have, class of service, current telephone charges, long-distance and local service billing records, directory assistance charges, usage data, and calling patterns. Protecting Customer’s CPNI is a duty of the Company under Federal law.
